The drilling tool has cutting edges at an angle to its direction of movement, in a star formation, with a spoil removal opening between two cutting edges. The cutting blade (11) has scissors cutting edges. The tool has a connector (12) to pull the pipe (33) behind it. The tip of the tool is connected to a push/pull rod (6).
