Novel medicinal compositions to be used in phtochemotherapy whereby vascular reconstriction after percutaneous transluminal coronary recanalization or percutaneous transluminal angioplasty can be inhibited which contain as the active ingredient mono-L-aspartylchlorin e6 or mono-L-glutamylchlorin e6 or salts thereof; and a photodynamic therapy method for inhibiting vascular reconstriction after angioplasty by using these compositions.
