The invention relates to powder formulations which contain or consist of soluble or insoluble polyvinylpyrrolidone and/or polyvinylpyrrolidone copolymers and which are suitable for use as auxiliary agents for formulations of medicaments. The inventive formulations contain very small, homogeneously distributed quantities of heavy metals that are physiologically compatible in these quantities or very small quantities of peroxide-splitting enzymes.
