PURPOSE: Motor installation structure is provided to decrease component number for supporting a motor of air conditioner and to enhance assembly productivity . CONSTITUTION: At both sides of a motor(90), a blower and a fan respectively established indoors and outdoors are simultaneously driven by the motor(90). A lower outer periphery of the motor is settled at a lower support portion of a lower casing(70) indoors while an upper outer periphery of motor is seated at a support portion(81) of an upper casing(80) indoors. Thereafter, the peripheries are combined to through holes(71c) employing plural combining members(99) to complete the assembly. The upper and lower support portions(81) arranging the motor(90) to the upper and lower casings(70,80) of indoors are integrally defined. Plural through holes(71b) and protrusions(71a) are formed to the lower support portion for cooling the motor(90) at the same time. As a number of components arranged is decreased during mounting of the motor, raw cost of components is saved as well.
