PURPOSE: A device for preventing a transformation of an upper corner is provided to prevent the transformation of the upper corner and to increase a capacity of a washing machine by preventing a concentrative load in the upper corner and reducing friction noise. CONSTITUTION: Another upper corner(11-2) is formed under an upper corner(11-1). Flanges(21) are formed in the upper corner(11-1) to be combined with an outer case(1). A boss(104) is formed on the flanges(21) to be contacted with a top cover. Plural combining slots(17) are formed in the flanges(21) to be inserted screws(18) for combining with the outer case(1). A connecting member(101) is integrally formed between the upper corners(11-1,11-2). A vibration preventing member(102) is installed between the outer case(1) and the connecting member(101) to prevent friction noise by vibration into the outer case(1) and into the connecting member(101). Plural reinforcing ribs(103) are installed in the upper corners(11-1,11-2) to reinforce strength of the upper corners(11-1,11-2).
