<p>The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a thermoplastic composition comprising a polyphenylene ether resin and a styrenic resin wherein the processes comprise a concentrate of polyphenylene ether resin with an organic phosphate compound. The concentrate allows for ease of handling of polyphenylene ether resin without the risk of dust ignition while obtaining substantially the same physical properties as obtained with polyphenylene ether resin powder. The invention also relates to articles formed out of the compositions made by the process of the invention.</p> |
