The invention relates to a device for extruding thermoplastic synthetic materials which is comprised of an extruder (1) and of an adapter (3) mounted on the outlet of the extruder. The adapter is attached to the open end of the cylinder (2) in a pressure sealed manner. According to the invention, the adapter (3) is configured as one piece and its dimensions are adapted to the diameter of the cylinder in such a way that the adapter (3) can be heated by an electric heating jacket (4) of the cylinder (2).
