The present invention relates to a computer mechanical-interface device that comprises a body capable of displacement on a support surface, wherein a plurality of dual-co-ordinate wheel-type members with rotation sensors and drive devices are provided on said body. This invention also relates to variants of the present device. The dual-co-ordinate wheel-type member is mainly intended for a computer mechanical-interface device and comprises a skeleton-frame as well as a plurality of support rotation bodies that define the peripheral portion of said dual-co-ordinate wheel-type member. The rotation bodies are attached to the skeleton-frame so as to be capable of rotation about their own axes which are connected to said skeleton-frame perpendicularly to the rotation axis of the dual-co-ordinate wheel-type member.
