<p>The invention concerns a laser optical pumping module, comprising a cylindrical reflector on a polygonal base. Said module comprises an amplifying medium (11) forming a bar with circular base, at least a light source (24) to pump said medium optically and a reflector (15) enclosing the latter to reflect the light, along a plurality of passages, towards said medium, and forming a cylinder with polygonal base. The source is placed in line with a ridge of said cylinder, opposite thereof with respect to the medium. The invention is particularly applicable to laser cutting and laser welding.</p> |
