Tree-trunk cutter has two implements on opposite sides, holders, centering device with two pairs of arms

The machine consists of two implements (5) which trim the tree-trunks on two opposite-facing sides. The ends of the trunks are held in a holder (11,12). During machining, the holder and implements move to and fro. A centering appliance (4) automatically positions the tree trunk (13) in a pre-set position parallel with the direction of movement. The centering device has two pairs (4a,4b) of arms which have facing V shaped cavities.
