<p>A ceramic product to be used around water which has a coating film comprisin g an antifouling agent on its working surface, characterized in that the antifouling agent has a silicon-containing functional group capable of bindi ng with a hydroxyl group being present in the working surface of the ceramics product by dehydration or dehydrogenation. The ceramics product to be used around water exhibits excellent antifouling properties.</p>
