The invention relates to a binding for files, folders or the like. The binding comprises two covers (1, 2) which are linked via a spine (3). The covers and the spine consist of cardboard or the like. The spine (3) supports a pocket (18) for receiving a label (19). The outer side of the spine (3) is provided with a plastic lining (8) which is folded over the directly adjacent edge strip areas (6, 7) of the covers (1, 2). The remaining areas (8, 9) of the covers (1, 2) are free from plastic lining. The pocket (18) is made of plastic. The plastic lining (8) is welded-on. |
