In the present invention there is disclosed a filter, in the body (10) of which there is arranged a filter element (11) being made of zigzag folded filtering paper or a filtering web and having substantially the form of a plate. For sealing the filter element (11) in the filter body (10) there are arranged on at least two side surfaces (13, 14) sealing elements (23). The proposed filter can further contain a filtering mat (24) containing activated charcoal.
