<p>The present invention relates to a protective cover (1) of flexible soft material an intended for packing objects such as books, exercise books, printed matters, music and the like. The invented protective cover (1) has a fundamental strip (3) being longer than the total length of an opened object (2) to be packed inclusive of the thickness thereof, and is provided on its rear back surface contiguous to the object to be packed with two rectangular flaps (4, 5). A pocket-like solid flap (4) at one end of the fundamental strip (3) is fastened at three sides and opens in the direction toward the center of the fundamental strip (3). The other opposite open flap (5) is closed at its two opposite shorter ends, is fastened to the longitudinal ends of the fundamental strip (3) and opens all over its height so that between this open flap (5) and the fundamental strip (3) there is performed a pass-though hole (6). The open flap (5) can be put in the fundamental strip (3) edge, or preferably can be offset from the fundamental strip (3) edge. In alternative modification the protective cover (1') has a fundamental strip (3) being longer than the total length of an opened object (2) to be packed including the thickness thereof, and being provided on its one side and at both opposite shorter ends with rectangular self-adhesive flaps (8) formed by a layer of adhesive, covered with a top foil of the same dimensions with a layer of adhesive turned toward the adhesive of fundamental strip (3).</p> |
