In the present invention there are disclosed triphenyl-1,3,5-triazine derivatives of the general formula Ia, in which n is 1 to 4, Ri1 to Ri4, which are independent on each other represent a hydrogen atom or alkyl, Ri5 and Ri6 represent a hydrogen atom, Ri7 represents in dependence on n an optionally substituted alkyl with a chain being optionally broken by oxygen, glycidyl, an optionally substituted cyclohexyl, alkenyl, xylylene, an optionally substituted alkylene with a chain being optionally broken by oxygen or a specific group. In the present invention there is also claimed the use of the above indicated derivative as a stabilizing agent of organic polymers, particularly polycarbonates, especially radiation-hardenable coating materials.
