PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bowl cover which can be removed from a bowl without scattering soup. SOLUTION: The bowl cover has a wrapping 3 which covers the upper part of a bowl, a ring-shaped cylindrical stitching part 31 which is provided at the wrapping and a rubber string 4 which is arranged in the cylindrical stitching part 31 so as to install the wrapping on a bowl. Both end parts of elastic 4 are fixed to the wrapping 3 with leaving a space 5 and sewing-machine stitches 7 are provided from an outer end of the wrapping 3 to at least the neighborhood of the space.
