PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate defecation and seat washing by providing a stool in the center part of a bed base, storing a water washing seat in its front part, providing a lower half body bed base in the rear part and executing the movement of the seat onto the stool, the chevron shape erection of the lower half body bed base and the erection of an upper half body bed base by means of linkage. SOLUTION: The seat 18 is stored in a water washing seat storing chamber 8 in a normal bed state and the stool 5 is covered by the lower half body bed base 17. When a user defecates, the seat 18 is moved backward by a seat driving device 16 and the front part 19 of the base 17 is pushed upward by a lower half body bed base driving device 24. Then the seat 18 is moved to the upper p art of the stool 5 and the front part 19 of the base 17 projects in a chevron shape. Besides, the upper half body bed base 35 is made to be the erected state by its driving device 43. Then a stable defecation posture with a half body erected is obtained and smooth defecation is made possible. An original position is recovered by a reverse operation, the seat 18 is stored in the storing chamber 8 and washing is executed.
