PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internally threadable fishing rod having a fishline inlet hole whose space is sufficiently secured. SOLUTION: This internally threadable fishing rod is so designed that, a fishline inlet hole 6 is elliptically formed axially on the outer circumferential surface of the rod body 5, and the rim of the hole 6 is mounted with a covering member 7 and a ring member 8 provided on the opening of the covering member 7 and intended for guiding a fishline; the edge face 8a inside the ear tip side of the ring member 8 is situated somewhat toward the ear tip side apart from the edge face 6a on the ear tip side of the hole 6, and the edge face 8b inside the rod foot side of the ring member 8 is situated toward the ear tip side apart from the edge face 6b of the rod foot side of the hole 6; furthermore, the edge face 8c inside the flank of the ring member 8 is situated toward the outside apart from the edge face 6c of the flank of the hole 6, thus preventing the blockage of the hole 6 due to the ring member 8 and ensuring a space for the fishline inlet hole 6.
