PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet-jointed fishing rod capable of obtaining proper flexibility in whole fishing rod when a rod pipe having large diameter is joined to a rod pipe having small diameter, avoiding concentration of a stress in rear end of a joint bar, preventing breakage in the part and being inexpensive in production cost. SOLUTION: This faucet-jointed fishing rod is equipped with a rod pipe Ra having large diameter, a rod pipe Rb having small diameter and joint bars J1, J2 and J3. These joint bars J1, J2 and J3 has such cylindrical form that stiffness of the both ends becomes smaller than that of the center. Hole parts r1x, f1x, r2x and f2x extending to the axial direction may be formed at the inside of both ends of the joint bars J1 and J2. Cyclic notches r3x and f3x may be formed on the outer peripheral surface of at least both ends of the joint bar J3.
