PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily open a shallow pan-shaped lid for closing a pouring hole bored in a top wall of a container main body by means of a lid-opening tool. SOLUTION: A container with a lid-opening member is composed of a container main body 1 having a discharge hole bored at the front part of a top wall 3 thereof, a lid 7 which allows an upper outer face of a circumferential wall 9 rising from a circumferential edge of a bottom wall 8 to fit into the discharge hole, and a lid-opening tool 11 having a flange 12 fitted to an outer face of an upper end of the circumferential wall 9 of the lid and pinchingly held between a top wall portion of a circumferential edge of the discharge hole and an outward flange-like wall 10 of the lid, and having a handgrip portion 14 projected from a rear part of the flange with the aid of an extension plate part 13. A lever 17 projecting to the side of the flange 12 from a forward end of the handgrip portion 14 is formed at the extension plate part 13 by providing a separating line 16, and a flectional line 18 is provided at the portion of a boundary line between the forward end of the handgrip portion 14, except a rear end of the lever, and a rear end of the extension plate part 13.
