PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid damage to other equipment from following rotation movement of conveying claws after derailment by making breakage action of an overload prevention shear pin in an ear tip side locking and conveying mechanism of a waste straw conveying device done appropriately. SOLUTION: Both side surfaces of an ear tip conveying chan case are formed in a shape according to inclination of a wide base end 8A and a narrow tip action part 8B of a conveying claw 8. Reinforcement members 23, 24 are spot- welded on the outer surface of both the sides along the inclination part. Thereby, bend of the conveying claw 8 is suppressed and controlled at the side surface in the case of straw jamming and a lock condition from straw jamming of the conveying claw appears as designed and make breakage action of a shear pin done appropriately.
