PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window device capable of opening a power window definitely at a desired point in time when a motor vehicle sinks in water. SOLUTION: This power window device prohibits driving and controlling a motor 1 for moving up and down a window by a window controller 4 when a sinking motor vehicle is detected by its detector 5 and fixes the electric potential of a pair of output ends 20, 30 of the window controller 4 to a ground voltage. In this way, definite ascending and descending movement, of the motor 1 for the window can be secured by switching over a pair of switches 6, 7 from one to the other, located at hand for window raising operation interposed between the both output ends 20, 30 and both the ends of the window ascending and descending motor 1. |
