SOLUTION: The stool having bacteria-removing properties has a stool body 21, in which a glaze layer is formed on at least a bowl surface and which is made of pottery, the seat 23 installed in an openable-closeable manner on the opening of the top face of the stool body 21 and a hot-air generator assembled to the seat 23, the surface roughness Ra of the bowl surface of the stool body 21 is less than 70 nm by a probe type surface-roughness measuring device (JIS-B0651), the zeta potential of the bowl surface takes a negative value, and the hot-air generator can blow out hot air onto the bowl surface of the stool body 21.
