摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the half-value width of light emitting spectrum and to increase the light emitting intensity by providing a light emitting layer, wherein the crystal bodies included in a bus phase are made less than the specified total amount. SOLUTION: From the image picked up with a cross-sectional transmitting electronic microscope(TEM), the total number of the crystal bodies in a light emitting layer 106 is counted. The number of the crystal bodies picked up from the cross-sectional TEM image on the side of the crystal surface (0100) is generally two pieces at the image pickup area, wherein the lateral width is 50 nm and the hight (in correspondence with the film thickness) is about 6 nm. Furthermore, the total number of the crystal bodies counted on the side of the crystal surface (1000) is also from about 1 to 2 in the same image pickup area. the region of the image pickup is changed. The number of the crystal bodies contained in average in the space region of a certain volume is obtained. As a reslut, the number of the crystal bodies included in the space, wherein the height (layer thickness) on the bottom surface having the longitudinal length 50 nm is 6 nm, is 1.5 pieces in average. When the number is converted into the total number of the crystal bodies per unit area (1 cm<3> ), the number becomes 1.0&times;10<17> cm<-3> .
