PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thrust a sampler by a required length sequentially and at a unified speed, and to efficiently and excellently obtain undisturbed soil samples. SOLUTION: A sampling apparatus comprises a sampler thrusting apparatus 1, a drilling apparatus 32, a mounting base 16, and a hydraulic cylinder. The sampler thrusting apparatus 1 has a rod locking chuck for holding a rod 22 of a sampler for sampling soil samples, and a stroke cylinder having one end thereof linked to the rod locking chuck and other end thereof fixed onto the ground, for thrusting a sampling tube by a required length from a hole base. The drilling apparatus 32 drills the ground by means of a rotary tool. The mounting base 16 slidably holds the drilling apparatus 32 such that the position of the rotary tool of the drilling apparatus 32 frontward and rearward moves with respect to a drilling set position. The hydraulic cylinder allows the sampler thrusting apparatus 1 to be mounted on the mounting base 16, has a positioning stopper 19 for the a stand base plate 2 on the mounting base, and slides the drilling apparatus 32 on the mounting base 16.
