PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a recording substrate and a recording body generating little curling when printing is carried out by a thermal head. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive recording substrate is a laminated film formed of a core layer B formed of a thermoplastic resin film, on which a surface layer A composed of a thermoplastic resin as a main component and containing a styrene butadiene rubber constituted of a butadiene to which hydrogen is added and forming a 5-60 wt.% thermoplastic resin component is laminated, or the heat-sensitive recording substrate is formed of the thermoplastic resin film as a main component and containing a styrene butadiene rubber constituted of a butadiene to which hydrogen is added and forming a 5-60 wt.% thermoplastic resin component. A recording body is formed of the substrate on which a thermal transfer acceptive layer or a heat-sensitive coloring layer is formed.
