PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deodorant performance by installing deodorant filters consisting essentially of transition metal chelate compounds and deodorant filters consisting essentially of porous lay ores. SOLUTION: Two sheets of the deodorant filters consisting essentially of the transition metal chelate compounds are installed side by side over approximately the entire surface behind an air suction port 2. Two sheets of the deodorant filters 3 essentially consisting of magnesium silicate affixed with amino groups are installed side by side on the leeward of the deodorant filters 1. A metal phthalocyanine derivative, etc., are used as the transition metal chelate compounds. The malodors sucked together with air by a blasting fan 4 are removed at the time of passing the deodorant filters 1 and 3. For example, acetoaldehyde may be removed up to a removal rate of about 82% for about 30 minutes. The deodorant performance may thus be improved. |
