CARBURETER PROVIDED WITH THROTTLE VALVE AND AIR VALVE FOR TWO-CYCLE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-cycle internal combustion engine which eliminates the need for differentiating the outer diameter and the opening degree of a throttle valve from those of an air valve to delay the start of the opening of the air valve than more that of the throttle valve. SOLUTION: A throttle valve and air valve are built in a carburetor body 10 in parallel with each other. A first partial gear 40 is connected to the shaft 24 of the throttle valve, and a second partial gear 50 is connected to the shaft 34 of the air valve. The gear ratio of a pair of gears comprising the first and second partial gears 40 and 50 is set, so that the throttle valve and the air valve open simultaneously. The first partial gear 40 is arranged to the second partial gear 50, so that the firsts partial gear 40 does not abut on the second partial gear until the throttle valve rotates by a prescribed angle from an idling position.
