PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly perform an electrolyzing treatment without making electrode length large by flowing in untreated water into a container via an inflow pipe, flowing out the water after electrolysis from an outflow pipe, and flowing the water in the container arranged with one pair of electrodes with a slow flow velocity, and conducting electrolysis. SOLUTION: A chlorine generator 4 for electrolyzing the feed water which is incorporated in a beverage dispenser for selling beverage such as cola and juice, has an electrolysis bath 40 provided with a feed pipe 5 feeding city water, a gas vent pipe 4A for discharging electrolysis gas such as gaseous hydrogen and gaseous oxygen generated by electrolysis of the fed water to the outside, and a feed pipe line 7 for discharging the water (selling water) after the electrolysis. The electrolysis bath 40 is formed to have a larger cross-section area than those of the feed pipe lines 5, 7 so as to make a flow of the water in the bath 40 small. A pair of electrodes 40A, 40B in which Ti is coated with Pt series metal are arranged oppositely in the inside, and are connected to respective power source devices.
