PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysiloxane compound which is excellent in abrasion resistance and is useful for obtaining an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity and durability by selecting a polysiloxane compound having triarylamine structures on the side chains. SOLUTION: This polysiloxane compound is represented by formula I [wherein, R is alkyl or phenyl; X is a single bond, O or COO; (m) is 2-20; (n) is the degree of polymerization; Y is a group of formula II or III; R1 is H, alkyl or aryl; (a) is 2-4; (b) is 1-2; Ar1 is arylene; and Ar2 and Ar3 are each (substituted) aryl] and is produced by reacting a polysiloxane compound of formula IV with an alkenyl compound of formula V (wherein (1) is 0-18) in the presence of a platinum catalyst. In an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive substrate, the polysiloxane compound of formula I is incorporated into an least one layer on the surface side most distant from the substrate, giving a photoreceptor which is free of cleaning defects and retains a high image quality even after used repeatedly.
