POLYACETAL RESIN COMPOSITION AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyacetal resin composition having sufficiently improved warpage and sink mark without deteriorating the surface appearance by mixing an amino compound having amino group as essential functional group with a swelling silicate to form a clay interlaminar compound and dispersing the clay interlaminar compound in a polyacetal resin. SOLUTION: The objective composition is composed of (A) a polyacetal resin and (B) a clay interlaminar compound having an average layer thickness of <=2,000Åand produced by mixing (i) an amino compound containing amino group as essential functional group (e.g. dimethylaminoethylamine and dimethylaminoethoxypropylamine) and (ii) a swelling silicate (e.g. montmorillonite and bentonite) in a dispersing medium. In the above composition, the amount of the component B is preferably 0.1-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A. The value [N] defined by the number of dispersed particles in the unit weight fraction of the component B existing in 100μm2 area of the above composition is preferably >=30.
