PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing a gondola supporting carriage capable of doing such work with tools including a box wrench and a socket wrench as well as more usual tools including a spanner and an offset wrench. SOLUTION: In a structure for fixing a gondola supporting carriage, two channel steels 10A, 10B in parallel and with their lips 10Aa, 10Ba opposed to each other are suspended on a gondola supporting carriage running on a rail 40 placed on the roof floor 31 of a building for suspending a working gondola in an up-and-down movable manner, the rail 40 is held at its sides between the lower parts of the channel steels 10A, 10B and the channel steels 10A, 10B re tightened to the rails 40 with bolts 14 and nuts 15 passing through the channel steels 10A, 10B for preventing the falling of the gondola supporting carriage. The height of the lips 10Ba, 10Ba of the channel steel 10B with which at least the nuts 15 have contact is such that the upper faces of the nuts 15 are protruded from a line connecting the ends of the lips 10Ba, 10Ba together.
