PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hard cotton which is scarcely permanently set, even when repeatedly used for mattresses, sheet products or the like, and has a proper touch, and to provide a sheet product using the same. SOLUTION: This hard cotton comprises low melting point fibers which have a component having a lower melting point than those of other fibers, and matrix fibers having a static friction coefficient (μs0) of <=0.020 between the fibers/the fibers, and has a 50% compression hardness of <=50 kg/150ϕ, a surface hardness of <=50, a density of 0.01-0.2 g/cm3, and a repeated compression residual strain of <=10%.
