PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely crush even an object having adhesiveness, a low m.p. and a low softening point so as to make a crushing ratio thereof twice that of a usual gear teeth protruding crusher at once when a hammer/hatchet blade roll crusher is used in the crushing of a lump such as a block artile, or the like, before melting and to also enable the crushing of corrugated cardboard by shifting the teeth. SOLUTION: A hatchet roll 1 wherein discs 3 each having a hatchet-shaped cross section (blade) and slightly smaller rings 4 and alternately arranged and a hammering roll 2 wherein discs 5 having hammer-shaped projections on the circumferential surfaces thereof and smaller rings 6 are arranged alternately are supported on parallel shafts within a casing 16 so that the blades 3 and the rings 6 as well as the projections and the rings 4 are respectively opposed to each other and rotated in opposed relationship. Comb-shaped scrapers 7 are attached to the oblique lower parts of both rolls so as not to come into contact with the rings 4, 6 and blades.
