PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device superior in operability, and reducible in the tiredness of operator. SOLUTION: The endoscope device has an operation part 5 and an inserting part 2, which is connected to the operation part 5. An endoscope holder 16 is set on a heigpeace such as ceiling, and an endoscope 1 is hung keeping its inserting part 2 downward from the endoscope holder 16 rotatably, and an endoscope operation unit 18, which operates the endoscope 1 and the peripheral device, is set in the endoscope holder 16.
