PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diffuse ink and permeate rapidly it into a lower-side layer as a stamping material when the ink is filled up in a holder member. SOLUTION: A stamping material 3 held at the lower end of a hollow holder member 4 in a stamp unit 1 is constituted by laminating sequentially a lower- side layer 73 of a soft porous body whereon a stamping plate is made and an intermediate layer 72 and an upper-side layer 71 of hard porous bodies thereon, from the lower end face side of the holder member 4. In the hard porous body of the upper-side layer 71, a number of slits 74 for permeating ink from an ink pack holding part 22 on the upper side of the holder member 4 rapidly into the lower layers are formed at proper intervals so that they perforate through the layer vertically.
