PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly detect temperature of a blade part or the like of a punching metal mold, and a die metal mold. SOLUTION: A metal mold device 1 comprising a punch metal mold 3 and a die metal mold 5 which works with the punch metal mold 3 is provided with a sensor set up part 27 wherein a temperature sensor 25 for directly detecting the temperature near the blade part is installable at neighbouring of at least either a punch blade 13B of the punch metal mold 3 or a die blade part 23B of the die metal mold 25. Also, a sensor set up part 37 is provided with at least either one of a punch body 13 or a punch guide 11, to which a temperature sensor 35 is installable for directly detecting the temperature at a sliding part S of the punch body 13 and the punch guide 11 of the punch metal mold 3. Further, a sensor setting part 47 is installed in the punch guide 11, wherein a temperature sensor 45 is installable for directly detecting the temperature near the top end 11A of the punch guide 11 in the punch metal mold 3.
