PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the film thickness of a primer uniform by curing the primer by a heater while a cylindrical body is kept horizontal and rotated in the axial direction. SOLUTION: A cylindrical ceramic capacitor element 2 with metal terminals 1 fitted at both ends is put in a container in which a primer 3 is fitted to the side of the element 2 and rotated, and dip coating of the primer 3 is done. After that, the terminal 1 parts of the element 2 are mounted on a roller table 7 rotating at a constant speed, and the element 2 is rotated. A far infrared heater 8 is fitted to the upper part of the element 2, and the primer 3 is cured by the heater 8.
