PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for fishing line reel enabling the easy supporting and holding of a fishing rod when the rod is lifted up and the improvement of the operability of the reel in the case of using a fishing line reel which can be stored in a reel case, and fixes the rod-fixing part of the lower periphery of the reel case on the reel fixing part of the fishing rod. SOLUTION: This attachment 1 for fishing reel characteristically has the following structure: a separated member, which has the second rod-attaching part 22 attached on the lower end of a columnar bearing part 11 having a specified height and the second reel-attaching part 23 attached on the upper end of the bearing part 11, is mounted between a fishing rod 2 and a fishing line reel 1 in a freely attachable and detachable manner; thereby, the fishing line reel 1 is supported and held in a state lifted up from the fishing rod 2; and a space C into which the arm of the angler gripping the fishing rod 2 can be inserted is secured below the reel case 4 in the supporting and holding state.
