HARVESTER AND HARVESTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester and harvesting method enabling the harvesting work in high efficiency. SOLUTION: A film-winding roller 51 to wind up and recover a mulching film is placed on a machine body 1 in inclined state. A mulching film guide member 52 guiding the mulching film toward the winding roller 51 is placed in inclined state from the part under the front side of the machine body 1 slantly toward the upper back part. A film-pressing roller 57 is placed above the film guide member 52 parallel to the film winding roller 51. A stalk and leaf cutting means 21 is placed under the front-side of the machine body 1. The stalk and leaf part is erected from the fallen posture in a state inserted in the mulching hole by the peeling of the mulching film with a film-peeling means 26 and the erected stalk and leaf part is cut with the stalk and leaf cutting means 21 at a position under the mulching film.
