PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear rotor set made of an aluminum power alloy to be generated with excellent economical efficiency and to provide manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: Manufacture of a gear rotor comprises a sintering process wherein by sintering a gear rotor molded product formed of green aluminum powder, a gear rotor sintered substance is formed, a hot compression process wherein the gear rotor sintered substance is inserted in a mold having the shape of a gear rotor and a gear rotor is sintered through hardening under pressure; and a mold release process wherein the gear rotor is taken out from a mold. At a high compression process, after a given carboxylic acid-contained water solution is applied on the inner wall surface of a mold, the gear rotor sintered substance is inserted in the mold.
