PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-resisting member for a fire-resisting sash capable of preventing the passing through of fire flame during a fire and also maintain the strength of wired glass with time. SOLUTION: In a fire-resisting member 8 to be equipped between a wired glass plate 2 and a style 21 around the glass or a frame 11, a non-combustible fiber member 18 is covered by a non-water-permeable material 28, and water content invading the wired glass plate 2, its surrounding style 21 or frame 11 as a result of storm or dew condensation cannot be absorbed by a fiber member 18 because the moisture is blocked by non-water-permeable material 28, thereby maintaining dry condition for fiber member 18 without corroding wires 2a in the wired glass plate 2.
