PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To subject dioxins contained in incineration ash or fly ash to decomposition treatment in a short time, wherein the incineration ash or fly ash is formed by incinerating a material to be subjected to incineration disposal, such as municipal refuse, industrial waste, sewage sludge or industrial waste sludge, or combusting a fuel such as RDF(refuse derived fuel) or coal. SOLUTION: This dioxin removal process comprises: using a recycle fluidized bed furnace 1 constructed so that a fluidized bed B having a fluidization medium B' is formed in a lower region of a furnace inside section S and concurrently, a portion of the fluidization medium B', which is blown up from the fluidized bed B and then, together with a combustion gas G, discharged from the upper part of the furnace inside section S, is returned to the fluidized bed B; recycling the fluidization medium B' while maintaining the furnace inside section S at a prescribed temperature; and in that state, charging incineration ash A and fly ash A containing dioxins into the furnace inside section S in which the fluidization medium B' is vigorously agitated, to decompose dioxins in the incineration as A and fly ash A. |
