PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-safe heating body for microwave heating capable of obtaining a high temperature heating in a short time and giving a scorched part on the surface of foods by using it at heat-cooking by microwaves. SOLUTION: A paper base member including a metal compound solid and having no plastic component including layer on its surface, and a conductive metal evaporating layer are provided. This conductive metal evaporating layer is formed on at least one part of a surface of the paper base member. An including ratio of the metal compound solid in the paper base member is 5 to 60 weight % and an including weight of metal compound powder per 1 cm2 of the paper base member is more than 0.0005 mg.
