PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secret box which looks like a table at first glance to keep the secrecy of the inside and which allows the subject of storage to be easily taken in and out. SOLUTION: A frame 12 is provided on the tops of four legs 11 and a bottom plate 13 is positioned below the frame 12 to form a storage space S. A top plate 15 approximately corresponding to the size of an opening in the frame 12 is rotatably supported on the inner surface of the rear of the frame 12 and is rotatably provided having a free end in front. When the top plate 15 is in a closed attitude, its upper face becomes approximately coplanar with the upper end face of the frame 12, and when the top plate 15 is in an open attitude, the upper face is kept in an inclined attitude in which it is inclined 90 degrees or more relative to the horizontal attitude.
