PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold, capable of forming long the port of a branch pipe and allowing processing of injector mounting parts in satisfactory workmanship using a processing device. SOLUTION: A surge tank is formed from an upper member 5 arranged, separable from a lower member 4 connected with branch pipes 2, 2, 2, and when injector mounting parts 3a, 3a, 3a are processed by a processing device D in a condition in which the upper member 5 is removed, the level of the lower member 4 upper surface is set so that the lower member 4 upper surface is positioned where a prescribed clearance is reserved with respect to the position where the processing device is installed.
