PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorbing net body capable of reducing a production cost and also capable of absorbing an impact force effectively. SOLUTION: A plurality of unit wire material bodies 5, 5A having ring parts 2, 2 in parallel with each other are formed in a wire material 1. To the ring part 2 of one unit wire material body 5, the ring part 2 of the other unit wire material body 5A is inserted, and the ring parts 2, 2 of the unit wire material bodies 5, 5A are connected adjacently to each other. Because the other ring part 2 is inserted into one ring part 2, the ring parts 2, 2 of the unit wire material bodies 5, 5A different from each other are connected on one and the other sides. Therefore, the ring parts 2, 2 adjacent to each other of the unit wire material bodies 5, 5A are connected to each other so that a net body in which the ring parts 2, 2,... are connected in four directions can be provided.
