PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multiple twister capable of certainly inhibiting a yarn end of broken thread entering inside from a space between a rotating part and stationary part by composing it of a simple structure. SOLUTION: This single drive type double twister having a diving motor M for every spindle 1, has a delay plate 4 integrally rotating with the spindle 1 which has a thread pass 9 linking to the thread pass 8 in the spindle 1, a warp 22 mounted under the delay plate 4, and a thread approach inhibiting cover 25 mounted on the motor housing of the dive motor M and covering the outside of the space between the warp 22 and the motor housing. A ring shaped concaved ditch 27 is formed on the lower side of the delay plate 4 and the top end of the thread approach inhibiting cover 25 is bent to the outside almost in right angle, and the all or a part of the bent part enters the concaved ditch of the delay plate 4.
