PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify connection and joint working, to reduce partial loss of area to thereby enhance strength and toughness, to decrease consumption of timbers, and to shorten a construction period, by providing a male screw or a female screw at the end of a gusset plate. SOLUTION: There are provided a gusset plate equipped with a screw, obtained by providing a male screw 2 or a female screw 3 at an edge of the gusset plate 1, and a gusset shaft equipped with a screw, obtained by providing the male screw 2 or the female screw 3 at an edge of the gusset shaft. The gusset plate 1 has a pin hanging cogging 5 and a pin hole 6 formed therein, and the gusset shaft has the female screw attached to an intermediate portion thereof, or a circular or an elliptical pin hole 6 formed in the intermediate portion. The gusset plate equipped with the male screw and the gusset plate equipped with the female screw are inserted into an anchor hole from the right and left, and the gusset plate 1 is clamped and set so as to be vertically held. A horizontal member is installed on the gusset plate 1 and they are combined with each other by a drift pin. Thus, connection and joint working can be simplified, partial loss of area is reduced, strength and toughness are enhanced, timber consumption can be decreased, and a construction period can be shortened.
