AEROBIC TREATMENT OF ORGANIC WASTEWATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic wastewater aerobic treatment method which involves a process for more simply and efficiently treating sludge without requiring any ozone treatment and enables drastic reduction of excess sludge formation. SOLUTION: This method comprises: treating organic wastewater with an aerobic biological treatment tank B; thereafter, applying mechanical energy to at least a portion of return sludge C from the aerobic biological treatment tank B with an agitation type mill D; and returning the mechanical energy- applied sludge d1 to the aerobic biological treatment tank B.
